Plug-in Ready Touch Display Systems

Our production-ready display and touch screen kit for BeagleBone Black or BeagleBone White includes a robust RGB LCD with integrated full-size projected capacitive or resistive touch screens. We have 7″, 5.6″ and 4.3″ sizes. The BeagleBone mounts directly to the back of the platform where expansion capes can be easily added through a second row of header pins. An LED power indicator, reset switch and six-pin keypad connector are also included. And it’s fully compatible with the latest Linux / Android OS.

The kit includes the production ready display with touch screen, mounting stand and a push-button keypad. Just add your BeagleBone and any capes you need and you’re ready to start developing software. The stand gives you easy access to all of the connectors on the BeagleBone and capes.

The trim kit includes a production-ready back cover that protects the electronics platform while allowing easy access to connectors on the top and bottom of the BeagleBone and capes. Together, the trim bezel and back cover have your product protected both front and back.

7” BeagleBone White or Black

The 7″ display cape development kit includes a full color 800×480 LCD, a projected capacitive touch screen, a 6 button keypad, the stand, and all mounting hardware.

You can mount your BeagleBone Black or BeagleBone White directly on the back of the board. An additional row of pins is available if you want to add another cape to the system.

The board has a reset switch and a power LED on the back. The keypad brings the power LED and reset switch to the front of the board for easy access during development. The keypad also has 5 programmable push buttons.

This complete 7″ display system is perfect for developing Android applications that need a large screen and fast touch response times. Picture shows display cover bezel sold separately.

5.6” BeagleBone White or Black

The 5.6″ display cape development kit includes a full color 640×480 LCD, a projected capacitive touch screen, a 6 button keypad, the stand, and all mounting hardware.

You can mount your BeagleBone Black or BeagleBone White directly on the back of the board. BeagleBone capes can be stacked for additional functionality.

This complete 5.6 development kit is perfect for developing Android applications that need a mid-sized screen and fast touch response times. Picture shown display cover bezel sold separately.

4” BeagleBone White or Black

The 4.3″ display cape development kit includes a full color 480×272 LCD, a projected capacitive or resistive touch screen, a 6 button keypad, the stand, and all mounting hardware.

You can mount your BeagleBone Black or BeagleBone White directly on the back of the board. BeagleBone capes can be stacked for additional functionality.

This complete 4.3 development kit is perfect for developing Android applications that need a small screen and fast touch response times. Picture shows display cover bezel sold separately.

Trim and Cover Kit

Each size of development kit has an optional trim kit that includes a powder coated aluminum trim bezel and back cover. The bezel allows the unit to be mounted into a case and hides the edges of the display for a visually appealing final product.

The back cover is essential to protect the electronics from damage while still providing easy access to the connectors and ports on the BeagleBone boards.

MEB II

Our 7″ display cape for the Microchip MEB II is designed to work with the Harmony platform and give developers a high resolution display and great multi-touch input out of the box.

The display is an 800×480 full color LCD. The projected capacitive touch screen reports up to 5 touches. The cape is easily to mount and is plug-in ready on the MEB II. Included drivers and instructions on how to integrate this into the MPLab X IDE and Harmony system are included.

This cape is designed to be ready for production. This is not only a display that can be used for demos and initial development work, when your product is ready to manufacture, you can use the exact same display.
